Iraya Almond Nutrifying Skin Food | Review

Hello my lovely people,

Today I’m reviewing Iraya Almond Nutrifying Skin food. The name itself is so tempting, isn’t it? Iraya is an ayurvedic brand. It’s 100% vegan and is cruelty-free! Now-a-days, I have been plunging towards all-natural brands. They just sound more appealing to me with all their natural ingredients. Like this cream. Almonds are known to have Vitamin E which helps in regaining the complexion and has hydrating properties.

Claims: With almond, Indian madder (manjistha) & aloe vera this nutrient-rich cream is easily absorbed by the skin. Ensures both corrective & preventive action, minimises fine lines, delays signs of ageing & restores firmness & radiance. Ideal for normal to dry skin.

Price: Rs.495 for 50 gm

Key ingredients: Almond: nourishes & moisturises. Manjistha: revitalizes & rejuvenates.

My Experience with Iraya Almond Nutrifying Skin Food:

The cream comes packed  in a thick glass jar with a silver screw top lid. Once you open the lid, the jar is covered with a foil. The packaging looks really pretty! It is light-weight & travel-friendly. It feels a little unhygienic to dip the finger in. But you can always use a spoon!

This cream smells of raw almonds. I looooove the smell! The fragrance is very subtle & lingers for a while after application.

The cream is white in colour. The consistency of this cream is thick & waxy. It is a bit heavy. You just have to massage your face very well & it gets absorbed by the skin. It doesn’t leave an oily or greasy feeling after application.

I have combination skin. I love the feel of my skin after applying this. I’ve been using this cream for the past 1 month. Though, my skin didn’t become plump or even toned after using this, I have noticed that my skin feels a lot softer. I use it as a night cream and I wake up with very soft & supple skin in the morning. I don’t use this twice in a day because I feel it’ll be too heavy for my combination skin. Although, during winters I can definitely use this in the morning as well as the night time. I cannot say much about the anti-aging effects of this cream as I don’t have any fine lines.

For anyone who’s on a look-out for a good moisturizer, this is definitely a good option just for the mosturization. Other than that, this product is good but didn’t do anything extraordinary for my skin.

Things I Like About Iraya Almond Nutrifying Skin Food:

Very moisturizing

Heavenly fragrance

Doesn’t feel heavy on skin.

Things I Don’t Like:

Rating: 3.5/5

If you want a good moisturizer, this is definitely a good option.

  1. I am a huge fan of almonds, and even though they are like my life partner, somehow, I’ve missed this cream!
I will definitely give it a try, though!!!
