Price:

I bought it for Rs. 155 each from the Beauty Palace in Crawford market, Mumbai. It is available online on Nykaa for Rs.295 each.

Availability:

It is available in certain local beauty centers. Nykaa also stocks them but at a really high price compared to the price these are available for, in local beauty shops. Just because it’s now easily available online, doesn’t mean I recommend buying these online at such a high price. Only if you live in areas where these are 100% not available, you should try it out from Nykaa. Amazon also stocks them but, again, at a really high price.

My experience with the Miss Claire soft matte lip creams:

Packaging:

These lip creams come in a really basic liquid lipstick packaging. They come in a transparent plastic tube with black screw top cap that has a duo foot applicator that shut well. The small to medium size of the applicator makes it very easy to handle and apply the lipstick with. The shade number is given on the bottom of the tube. All in all, the packaging is really simple and travel-friendly.

Shades:

There are a total of 50 shades of these lip creams available on Nykaa.

The shades I own:

55:

This shade is my favorite of them all! Not just the ones mentioned here but from the whole soft matte lip cream range. It is the perfect pink nude shade for Indian skin tone. A muted pink shade with light purple undertones. I generally use a light hand and get the perfect ‘my lips but better’ shade. I’ve emptied 2 bottles of this lip shade, so you can definitely understand my obsession. If you’re Indian and you’re into pink nudes, definitely try this shade.

10:

This is a stunning red shade! It is a proper blood red color. The thing I love most about this shade is that it brightens up the complexion instantly. And it looks good on every skin tone and color. Again, the perfect red shade!

35:

This shade is very girly, bright and summery. It’s a perfect bubblegum pink that looks good on, again, every skin tone. If you’re worried, no, it doesn’t look neon at all on dusky skin tones.

Formula, texture & pigmentation:

These lip creams, as the name suggests, has a creamy consistency and texture; like whipped cream. All of the shades applies smoothly on the lips without tugging, pulling or any patchiness. What makes these different than all the other liquid lipsticks, is the texture and drying time. These take a little longer to dry than our traditional liquid lipsticks. And that is what makes it so comfortable to wear! Of all the liquid lipsticks I own, this is by far the most comfortable formula I’ve tried.

All of us can agree on a fact that, liquid lipsticks do get dry and difficult to wear sometimes. But these are just amazing! They take around 5 to 10 minutes to completely dry and become matte and then it doesn’t budge! While it does become matte, I’ve never experienced cracking or over drying on my lips. Layering or doing touch ups is also very easy, as it doesn’t ball up or flakes while layering more product on top.

Staying power:

It sits comfortably for at least 6 hours without any touch ups. It will lighten a little if you eat oily food, which is quite obvious. Other than that, no flaking, smudging or cracking on the lips. It stays put! Layering or doing touch ups is also very easy, as it doesn’t ball up or starts flaking while layering more product on the lips.

What I like about the Miss Claire lip cream:

I just love the formula of these lip creams.

They’re really affordable.

All the shades in this range looks good on almost all the skin tones.

Soft and smooth application.

Doesn’t dry the lips out.

Layering and touching up is really easy with these.

Non-transferable.

Smudge-proof.

Travel-friendly.

What I don’t like about the Miss Claire lip cream:

The quantity is a little less compared to all the other lipsticks I own. But, for the price it comes, I really can’t complain.

Rating: 5/5

Overall, I would 100% recommend you all to buy these lip creams. They are amazing for matte lip lovers yet comfortable enough for people that hate the drying effect of matte lipsticks. The pigmentation, formula and the shade range is to die for! I am soon gonna try a lot of more shades!
