Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick | Wine And Shine | Review

Whoever had said that Diamonds are a girls best friend, lied! Because for me, Lipstick are & will forever be a girls best friend! Lipstick’s can instantly brighten up your gloomy day and can give you that much needed pop of color on an otherwise plain day.

So today’s gonna be a review day. I’m gonna review one of the most flattering shades I own! It is the Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick in the shade Wine And Shine. I know it’s not a new launch but I love the shade so why not share it with you guys right?

Price: Rs.500 (I got it for Rs.375 as it was on 25% discount in the Beauty Palace in Crawford market)

Packaging: The packaging is not very different or eye catching. The lipstick comes packed in a cardboard box that actually looks pretty. The lipstick itself is a transparent plastic tube with a black screw top cap with a doe foot applicator. All in all the packaging is sturdy & travel-friendly.

Shade: The shade I have is 08 Wine And Shine. It is a true magenta shade with blue undertones. It’s a dark pink with hints of purple in it. It will instantly brighten up your complexion. It’ll suit all the skin tones.

My Experience With The Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick :

I had heard many bad review about this lipstick, but I still bought it because I loved the shade! As any other liquid lipsticks are, this too is very drying on the lips. But I am a matte lip lover so I make liquid lipsticks work for me by just prepping my lips before I apply them on my lips. I apply a lip balm before applying liquid lipsticks. By doing this, my lips stay comfortable throughout the day. But if you don’t wanna do that DO NOT buy this! Because this will be very drying on your lips and it’ll flake during the day. This lipstick is for hardcore Matte lip lovers like me. Trust me, If I like a shade I’ll make the lipstick work for me girl!

Rating: 3/5

I would not recommend this to people that are not very comfortable with super matte lipsticks. but for Matte lover’s like me, Go for it but take a lip balm with you please! 😉

Ps. Sugar has launched 10 new shades in the Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick range which are said to have a less drying formula. So you can definitely check them out!
